Re-learning :)

This morning I re-learnt how to fill text with a picture on Photoshop and Illustrator. Now just to get the right copyright free image to use and I'll be away with the work page for the website...

As part of Project Fly, we're creating a promotional video for the Mixed Media Apprenticeship. Title cards are going to be used in the video, here are couple drafts for ideas.

Paperwork everywhere

We presented the work we've done so far to Alison yesterday, and she was pleased with it all. I've now got to make a couple more flyers and tidy up the current ones a little, but she's given us some feedback as to which bits she likes to I've got a fairly clear idea in my head of the next step. I'll start designing again tomorrow when I can go over the improvements with other team members. In other words, I've spent almost 8 hours doing assignments and assessment documents - and I've still got more to go. Over-time it is then...

Another flyer draft, Mixed Media this time

First day back after the Christmas break and straight back into designing; today I finished another draft for another flyer. I stuck to a type-based design again, but I really do love the magic of typography. Feedback?

Film and Video E-flyer Draft 2

Here's another draft for the Film and Video e-flyer.  I tried to take a completely approach towards it so the client has a choice.

And here's a draft for a header for a Mixed Media webpage we're also working on as part of this project. This is much more of a draft than the e-flyers, but it's just to show the general idea. If this header ended up being picked it would be refined and polished. (Note: please click on the image below to view the full size GIF, it's animated.)

Film and Video E-flyer Draft

Here's a draft of the Film and Video apprenticeship e-flyer that I've been working on. I need to re-arrange the information at the bottom so it's aligned better, but other than that, I'm not sure what else to add. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
